My interest in making jewellery begun when my children started school and I joined a local Adult Education class in South East London 'just for fun'.
I liked it so much that I went on to train at Sir John Cass College and then taught for 18 years in Adult Education in East Dulwich. Several of my students went on to become Professional Jewellers.
Having moved from Greenwich to rural Kent, I built a conservatory and set up my workshop, where I have 8 purpose built jeweller's workbenches, so my Students can progress and produce their own pieces and I can enjoy my garden and chickens, whilst making my Jewellery, and teaching
I generally sell through Galleries, Festivals, Classic Car Rallies, Jewellery Parties and Private Commissions (I enjoy a challenge). Having been commissioned to make pieces (including engagement and wedding rings) for Joanne Mays, star of Les Miserables. Publicity items for Cleo Laine (Jazz Singer), and the pop group Kleshay, and for Danny Dee, DJ and promoter, whose song 'Acid' you may remember.
I also specialise in 2CV, Beetle and VW camper van jewellery and one of my next projects will be the Mini.
